'I was a little nervous in qualifying due to the slippery track. Come race 1 I was feeling much more confident, as I launched off the start line gaining multiple positions into turn 1! Race 1 was the most exciting for me as I was battling with 3 others till the very last turn. With 2 competitors in my sight as I exited turn 12 on the last lap I managed to pip one on the line and missed out on the other by 0.004 of a second. Damn!' Said Stacey
Ben Reid (Coach & Mechanic) said 'Another massive leap forward for Stacey. She is improving each time she rides. Her cornering speed over Lukey Heights was impressive. I can't wait to see what Round 2 of the Hartwell Champs Winton brings!'
