InsureMyRide Gets on the Bike for a Good Cause

Specialist motorbike insurance provider InsureMyRide has announced that it will be a major sponsor of this year’s Batemans Bay Charity Trail Ride. The ride is held over two days on Saturday and Sunday, 24th and 25th July and promises to be one of the highlights of the NSW trail ride calendar.

"This is the first year that InsureMyRide has had an opportunity to be involved in this event and we’re pleased to come on board, especially when money raised from the ride will be going to a number of local charities" said InsureMyRide Business Development Manager, Luke Smith.

The ride is open to all registered bike types and will follow a similar course to that undertaken in the Australian Off-Road Championships held earlier this year, with a few new tracks thrown in. "This course is classed as some of the best trail riding in the country and I’m personally looking forward to tackling a couple of the trails over the course of the weekend too", said Luke Smith.

Expecting to attract around 400 riders, the event is suited to all levels of riders and is a great weekend for families and friends to get together and talk all things dirt bike. Riders will receive an official ride shirt and there will be morning and afternoon rides, BBQs and fantastic challenges with the winners receiving some great prizes.

Scrutineering starts at 8am and riders are reminded to bring their licence and rego papers.
